Devikulam Seetha Devi Lake located 16 Km away from Munnar on the Thekkady Direction. It is believed that got its name as Seetha Devi (wife of Rama in Ramayanam) bathed in this lake. This idyllic hill stations with its velvet lawns, exotic flora and fauna and the cool mountain air is a rare experience. The Seetha Devi Lake with its mineral waters and picturesque surroundings is a good picnic spot. The lake is also ideal for trout fishing. Prior permission should be obtained from Tata Tea Ltd. to visit this lake.
